CHAP. 185. An ACT to prevent the issuing and circulation of the bills, notes and other securities of corporations created by acts of Congress which have expired. CHAP. 186. An ACT making appropriations for the current and contingent expenses of the Indian department, and for fulfilling treaty stipulations with the various Indian tribes, for the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight.

[SEC. 1.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums be, and they are hereby, appropriated, for the year one thousand eight hundred and thirtyeight, for the purpose of paying the current expenses of the Indian department, fulfilling treaty stipulatations with the various Indian tribes, and contingent expenses, to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated:
