'HE holy and bleffed Scriptures, which were THE written by the infpiration of God, are the only infallible rule, guide, and direction for our faith and practice they contain and make known unto us the whole of God's mind and will, and are fufficiently able to make us wife unto falvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus. They inform us, that God made all things for his own glory-that he is incomprehenfible in his effence-immutable in his will-infinite in wifdom-almighty in power-immense and every where prefent.
