Keeping mercy for thousands...7.

[For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;] he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee... Deut. iv. 31. ...Shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.-Deut. v. 10.

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him...to a thousand generations. Deut. vii. 9.

...The Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers... Deut. xxx. 9.

With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful.-2 Sam. xxii. 26.

And David said unto God, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for his mercies are great...2 Sam. xxiv. 14.

...There is no God like thee in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart.-1 Kings viii. 23.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy

Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.-11.

The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.-13.

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.-Ps. lxvi. 20.

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.-Ps. lxviii. 5. ...Thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.-10.

Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good : turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.-Ps. lxix. 16.

Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.-Ps. lxxiii. 1.

For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very

heavens.-2.

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.-14. My Mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.-28.

To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.—Ps. xcii. 2.

The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.-Ps. xcviii. 2.

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.-3.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.-Ps. c. v.
