When Jesus saw that the people came running toge ther, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee come out of him, and enter no more unto him. 26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him; and he was as one dead, insomuch 27 that many said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up, and he arose. 18 Mat. And Jesus rebuked the devil. And he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. And healed the child, and delivered him again to his father. Mar. And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 19 Mat. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 Mat. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto yoi'. Wherefore, if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee : it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into ever lasting fire. 19 43 Mar. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shaid 44 be quenched; where their worm dieth not, and the ire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter halt into ife, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched; where their vorm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 9 Mat. Ind if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee; It is better for thee to enter into life with one hell-fire. It is better for thee to enter into the kingdom be cast into hell-fire. 48 Mar. Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not juenched. 49. For every one shall be salted with ire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Salt is good; but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will you season it? Ind it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayirigs, he departed from Galilee, And came into the coasts of Judea beyond Jor dan. And cometh into the coasts of Judea, by the farther side of Jordan. Mat. Ind great multitudes followed him, and he healed hem there.
