ren, throughout all his demefne lands, in the counties of Stafford, Salop and Warwick: he married Ifabel, daughter and heir of Philip de Mitton, with whom he had the lordfhips of Ingeftre Salte, and Gretwyche, in the county of Stafford, and had issue, William, whofe refidence was fome time at Oddefton, in the county of Leicester, and who had two fons, Roger, and Philip, both knights, Sir Roger, the eldeft, married Joan, daughter of Sir Ralph de Grendon, and Sir Philip, his brother, married Alice, the next daughter of the faid Sir Ralph de Grendon; he with her had the lordship of Grendon, in the county of Warwick, he had issue Sir William Chetwynd, of Ingeftre, who by Olivia, his wife, had two fons, Richard and John, and a daughter Margaret, married to William Purefoy, of Shireford, county of Warwick, Efq; John refided at Alfpath, (now called Mereden) in the county of Warwick, and married Margaret, fifter to the faid William Purefoy, Efq; and died without iffue.

Richard, the elder brother, married Thomafine, daughter of Thomas Frodsham, and was father of Sir Philip, who married Elene, widow of Edmond Lord Ferrars, of Chart ley, daughter and at length heir to Thomas De la Roche, and coufin and heir to John de Birmingham, by whom he had a fon William, who died in his life-time, and left a fon William, who fucceeded him, and
