ABJER, at Dringhouses, near York, at 10 sov, a mare, and half-asovereign to the groom.-He was got by Truffle, out of Briseis, by Beningbrough (grandam of Monarch) Lady Jane, by Sir Peter; Paulina, by Florizel; Matchem, &c. &c.-Truffle was got by Sorcerer, out of Hornby Lass, by Buzzard, Matchem, Herod, Blank, Spectator's dam.

Winners, and mares that have bred winners, gratis, all others at 10gs a mare, and 10s. to the groom; an

ARABIAN HORSE, of the Nedjed race, the most esteemed blood of High Arabia. Breeders for the turf are particularly invited to examine this extraordinary horse, as such an opportunity has not perhaps presented itself to cross the blood of the English racehorse since the days of the Godolphin Arabian.-He is of a beautiful grey colour, about 14 hands and a half high, and has a most docile temper, with all the other characters of the purest blood; in addition to which he has powers equal to carry the heaviest man. The horse may be seen at Shackell's Stables, Oxford-street, till the end of February, and after that time at The Hale, near Edgeware, where there is accommodation for mares on the usual

terms.

ASHTON, winner of all his engagements in 1809 (including the Great St Leger at Doncaster) and of the Great Subscription at York, 1811; at James King's Stables, Chisledon, near Swindon, and Marlboro,' Wilts; thorough-bred mares at 5gs, and 10s. 6d. to the groom; all others half-price, and 5s. to the groom, who has the best of accommodations.

BANKER, at Appleton Cottage Farm, Appleton, Cheshire, 7 miles from Knutsford and 3 from Warrington, at 5 sov. a mare, and half-a-sov. the groom.-Banker was got by Smolensko, out of

Quail, by Gohanna for his performances, see Calendars for 1819, 1820, 1821, and 1822. Every accommodation for mares to foal, and foals; with hay and corn at the usual prices. All expenses to be paid before the mares are taken away.

BLACKLOCK, at Ledston Hall, near Ferrybridge, at 12 sov. a mare, and 1 sov. the groom. Excellent accommodation for mares and foals, at the usual prices.

BOBADIL, at Clearwell Court, Newland, Gloucestershire, at 10gs a mare, and half-a-guinea to the groom. He is 16 hands high, with bone and substance in proportion. Hay and grass at 7s. per week. Clearwell is 6 miles from Monmouth, 20 from Gloucester.

At Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, the property of John Fryatt, at 10gs and a half each mare; those not thorough-bred at half price; CANNON-BALL, got by Sancho, his dam, Grimaldi's dam, grandam, Cora, by Matchem. The oldest stock by Cannon-Ball are three yrs old-three have started, and two are winners. Cannonball won and received forfeit twenty-four times, beating Catton, Langold, Viscount, Wanderer, Skim, King of Diamonds, and many more good horses. He is perfectly sound, without blemish, and a sure foal-getter. Good accommodations for mares and foals, plenty of hovels, and as good grass as any in England. Hay, corn, &c. on the usual terms. All expenses to be paid before the mares are taken away.

CENTAUR, at Robert Stevenson's, Newmarket, at 10gs, and halfa-guinea the groom.-Centaur was got by Canopus, dam by Orville, grandam, the dam of Castrel, Selim, Rubens, &c. by Alexander, Highflyer, Alfred, Engineer, out of the dam of Bay Malton.

At Wem, Salop, at 7gs and a half.

CHAMPION, by Selim (own brother to Rubens and Castrel) his dam, Podagra, by Gouty. He is a horse of great size and power, full 16 hands high, with uncommon bone and substance, quite sound and well, and is the sire of Cambrian Lass, Stingo, Colchicum, Signorina, &c. Good accommodation for mares, with or without foals, at 7s. per week; corn, if ordered.

THE CHANCELLOR, at Shrewsbury; thorough-bred mares at 5gs, others at 2gs, groom, 5s. Mares, whose produce have won a

plate of 50gs, gratis, groom's fee excepted.

COMUS, at Newmarket, at 10 sov. a mare, and one sov. the groom.

DUPORT, at Epsom; thorough-bred mares, 10gs each, groom's fee included; all others at half price. Apply (if by letter, post paid) to G. Harrison, at the Stables, Church-street, Epsom.

YOUNG ECLIPSE, at Mr W. Coleman's Stables, Bletchingly, Surrey, at 5gs, and half-a-guinea to the groom, for thorough-bred inares; and 2gs, and 5s. for half-bred mares.-Young Eclipse, a bright chesnut horse, without white, was got by Election (son of Gohanna) out of Johanna Southcote, by Beningbrough (vide Racing Calendar). He is allowed by all to be unexcelled in symmetry, action, and temper; specimens of his superior stock may be seen in the neighbourhood.

At the Stallions Boxes, in Hampton-Court Park, ELECTROMETER, at 2 sov. a mare, and 5s. to the groom got by Thunderbolt, own brother to Smolensko, out of Pearl, own sister to Plover, by Sir Peter. Bright bay, 15 hands 3 inches high, 5 yrs old, perfectly sound, without blemish, correct in his proportions, with muscular powers equal to carry 16 stone with fox hounds. Excellent keep for mares at 5s. per week; corn, if ordered, at the market price. All expenses to be paid before the mares are taken away. Apply to Mr W. Furance, at the Stud Lodge.
