The winner of 1001. at any time after the day of nomination, and previous to the day of starting, to carry 5lb. extra. Mares and geldings allowed 3fb.

The Kentish Hunters' Stakes of 5gs each, for horses not thorough-bred, and bred in the county, bona fide the perty of the subscriber and freeholder who names him, and regularly hunted in the county of Kent, not to have started, pd or recd. ft. or had a sweat, before the 1st day of March, 1816; and to be named on or before that day, to Mr. Weatherby, London, or Mr. James Delmar, Clerk of the Course, Bridge. To carry 12st. two miles. No losing horse, who has started for the Kentish Hunters' Stakes only, shall be disqualified. A certificate of their having been regularly hunted, and not thorough-bred, will be required at the time of naming.
