ABERDEEN, FORFAR, KINCARDINE, AND BANFF MEETING, 1816.

The Meeting will commence at Aberdeen, on the second Tuesday of October, 1816, and conclude on Friday.

Right Honourable the Earl of ABOYNE, Preses.

N WEDNESDAY will be run for, over the Race

of Aberdeenshire, for horses bred in either of the four counties; heats, two miles; to carry the following weights: three yr olds, 8st. 4lb. four, 9st. 4lb. five, 9st. 10fb. six and aged, 10st.

Same day, A Gold Fox's Head, value 50gs, given from the Funds of the Meeting, for hunters not thorough-bred, that have been hunted in Scotland, and trained north of the Tay, being the property of Members three months before starting; heats, three miles; to carry 12st.

THURSDAY.-A Sweepstakes of 10gs each, for hunters bona fide the property of Members of the Meeting, who have hunted with any established pack of hounds in Scotland the preceding season, to be certified at entry. No horse to be allowed to run, who has been on the south side of the Tay after the 1st of August; and the sweepstakes to close on that day; heats, three miles; to carry 12st.

FRIDAY.-An Open Plate of 50gs, given from the Funds of the Meeting, for all ages; to carry weights the same as the preceding; heats, three miles.

Same day, A Sweepstakes for beaten horses. The winners of either or both of the first two Plates, Cups, or Purses, &c. to be obliged to run a Sweepstakes of 10gs each, open to any of the beaten horses during the week, on paying 5gs each; heats, two miles.

The horses for this sweepstakes to be named by four o'clock on Thursday, and the weights to be settled and declared by the Preses and Stewards before five o'clock on that day.

The horses to be entered on or before Tuesday, by ten o'clock, a. m. at the Secretary's Office. Entry-money 2gs each.

All disputes to be decided by the Preses and Stewards, or whom they shall appoint.

the week.

IRST DAY.-The Cup, by subscription of 10gs each, for horses, &c. of all ages; three yr olds, 6st. 9fb. four, 8st. five, 8st. 9fb. six, 9st. and aged, 9st. 2lb. mares

and geldings allowed 31b. four miles. The winner of a King's Plate, Gold Cup, 25gs Stakes or 801. Plate at Bibury, in 1816, to carry 71b. extra. Horses, &c. having started three times in 1816, and not won, allowed 3lb. The stakes to be paid before starting to Mr. Weatherby, or Mr. D. Burden, Clerk of the Course, Abingdon, or not entitled though a winner. The winner, if demanded in the

usual way, to be sold for 600gs.

To close and name on or before the 1st of June, 1816.

A Sweepstakes of 5gs each, with 25gs added from the Racing-fund, for all ages; 2-mile heats: mares and geldings allowed 31b. To carry Egham Cup weights. Winners once in 1816, to carry 3lb. extra. twice or more, 5lb. The winner of the Oxford Cup, in addition to the extra. weights, to carry 5lb.

A Sweepstakes of 5gs each, for hunters not thoroughbred, that have been hunted in the counties of Berks, Wilts, Oxon, or Hants, at least ten times. A certificate to this

effect to be produced, signed by the manager of the hounds with which they have hunted, on or before the day of naming. To carry 12st. each, and never to have won or received forfeit; 2-mile heats.

To close on the 1st of July, 1816, when the horses must be named.
