Senater Coelho moved that the Resolution be adopted. Seconded by Senator McCarthy and carried on a vote of 6 tc, 6, the Chair voting in favor of the motion.

Senator Coelho gave notice cf intention to introduce a Bill entitled "An Act to Provide for Biennial Reports to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii by County Officers."

Under suspension of the Rules, Senator Coelho introduced a Bill (S. B. No. 98) entitled "An Act to Provide for Biennial Reports to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii by County Officers."

The Bill was read first time by title and, upon motion of Senator Coelho, seconded by Senato: Hewitt, passed First Reading and was referred to the Printing Committee.

Senator Chillingworth gave notice of intention to introduce the following Bills:

"An Act Amending Section 1227 of the Revised Laws of Hawaii, relating to Civil Procedure."

"An Act Providing a Seal for the Attorney General of the Territory of Hawaii."

Under suspension of the Rules, Senator Chillingworth introduced a Bill (S. B. No. 99) entitled "An Act Providing a Scal for the Attorney General of the Territory of Hawaii."

The Bill was read first time by title and, upon motion of Senator Chillingworth, seconded by Senator Hewitt, passed First Reading and was referred to the Printing Committee.

Under suspension of the Rules, Senator Chillingworth introduced a Bill (S. B. No. 100) entitled "An Act Amending Section 1727 of the Revised Laws of Hawaii, relating to Civil Procedure."

The Bill was read first time by title and, upon motion of Senator Chillingworth, seconded by Senator Hayselden, passed First Reading and was referred to the Printing Committee.

Senator Dowsett on behalf of the Wavs and Means Committee reported verbally on Senate Petitions Nos. 12 and 13. Senate Resolutions Nos. 19 and 20, and Communication (No. 27) from the Joint Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Merchants Association of Honolulu, desiring to return the same to the Senate, the Current Expense Bill having been passed.

The Report was ordered accepted.

At 3:44 o'clock, upon motion of Senator Dowsett, seconded by Senator Knudsen, the Senate adjourned.
