In Common Council of the City of New York.

Resolved, That the Manual of the Corporation of the City of New York for the year 1870 be compiled, under the direction of the Mayor, by the Clerk of the Common Council, who is hereby authorized, directed, and required to compile said Manual under such direction, and that fifteen thousand copies thereof be printed and published under his immediate supervision, to be distributed as follows:-Five thousand copies to the Board of Aldermen; five thousand copies to the Board of Assistant Aldermen; one thousand copies to the Mayor; two thousand copies to the Clerk of the Common Council; and two thousand copies to the Clerk of the Board of Assistant Aldermen; that the sum of five thousand dollars be, and is hereby appropriated to pay for the compilation and superintending the publication thereof, to be paid from the appropriation for "City Contingencies," or any other appropriate account.
