[19. From and after the first day of March next all that part of the town of Franklinville, in the county of Cattaraugus, which lies east of the line running north and south between the second and third tier of lots in the fourth township and fourth range of townships of the Holland Land Company's land, shall be and remain a separate town by the name of Lyndon.]3

[20. From and after the first day of March next all that part of the town of Little Valley, in the county of Cattaraugus, known as the fourth township in the eighth range of townships, shall be and remain a separate town by the name of New Albion.]*

[31. All that tract or territory of country lying in the county of Cattaraugus, and known and distinguished on the survey and map of said county, as township number one in the eighth range of the Holland Land Company's survey, and township number one in the ninth range of said survey, and all that part of the Allegany Indian reservation, that would be embraced in said townships if the lines thereof were continued straight across said reservation, is hereby erected into a separate town, to be hereafter known and distinguished by the name of South Valley.]

[The lots number twenty-four, twenty-five, thirty-four, thirtyfive, forty-four, forty-five and forty-six, shall be taken from the town of Coldspring in the eighth range of the Holland Land Company's survey, and annexed to the town of South Valley, so that the division line between townships number one and two in the ninth range, running due east until it strikes the division line between townships number one and two in the seventh range, shall be the division line between the towns of Coldspring and South Valley in the eighth range.]3

$59. [Sec. 55] The county of CHAUTAUQUE shall be divided into the towns of Busti, Carrol, [Kiantone,] Chautauque, Clymer, Ellery, Ellicott, Ellington, Gerry, Hanover, Harmony, Mina, Pomfret, Portland, Ripley, Sheridan, Stockton, Villenova, [Westfield, Charlotte, French Creek, Arkwright, Cherry Creek, Poland and Sherman ;] the extent and limits of which said several towns shall be as follows:

1. The town of Busti shall contain all that part of said county, annexed to beginning in the south bounds of the county, at the southwest corner of lot number forty-one, in township number one, in the twelfth range of townships in the Holland Land Company's purchase, and running thence east along the bounds of the county, to the southeast corner of lot number thirty-three, in township number one, in the eleventh range; then north to the southeast corner of lot number forty in said township; then west along the south

All that part of the town of Carroll, in the county of Chau- Kiantone. tauque, described as follows: Commencing at a point in the south line of the town of Carroll, where the Conewango creek crosses the line between the States of New York and Pennsylvania, and running northerly along said Conewango creek, to the point where it is intersected by the line between the 10th and the 11th ranges of townships; thence northerly on the line between the said 10th and 11th ranges of townships, to the north line of said town of Carroll; thence west on the lines between the towns of Ellicott and Carroll, to the line of the town of Busti; thence south on the line between Busti and Carroll, to the Pennsylvania state line; thence east on the line between the States of New York and Pennsylvania, to the place of beginning. The eastern line to be adjusted so as to make the support of the bridge called the State Line bridge wholly chargeable on the new town of Kiantone.
