was the Tendency and End of the Apostles
Doctrine, To gather People to Chrift, and.to
Build them up in Him, that they might
know Him to be their Teacher, and the Spi-
rit of God to be their Leader: But the A-
nointing, faid the Apostle John, which have
received of Him (i. e. Chrift) abideth in you:
and ye need not that any Man teach
you, but.
as the fame Anointing Teacheth you of all
Things; and is Truth, and is no Lie; and even
as it bath taught you, ye shall abide in Him,

As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they

which John the Divine recommended the

This is the True STANDARD for all, to try their Ways, their Thoughts, Words, and Actions by, the Great and Lafting TEACHER, the Teacher that must remain in the Churches unto the END of the World.

Let all her Inhabitants rejoyce in Nome: and all the Families of the Earth put their Truft under the Shadow of his Wing; for therein is Safety, Prefervation, and Comfort for evermore.
