IN Confequence of the many fatal Accidents which have happened by Horfes running too near the Pofts, the STEWARDS of NEWMARKET RACES have caused the large and fixed Pofts on the Heath, to be furrounded with Turf-banks, about Five Feet in the Bafe, and floping to the Poft, at the Height of about Four Feet; and in other Parts of the Courfe, particularly where there are Turns, they have adopted the Use of fender Pafts that will break on any strong Preffure, which they earnestly recommend to the Notice of Stewards and Managers of Races in general, |
