Mr. President: The House of Representatives have passed the bill which originated in the Senate, entitled "An act to relieve the peo

ple of Florida from the operation of certain ordinances," the bill, entitled "An act to authorize and empower the corporation of the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia, to drain the low grounds on and near the public reservations, and to improve and ornament certain parts of such reservations;" and the bill, entitled "An act to provide for the collection of duties on imports and tonnage in Florida, and for other purposes," with amendments, in which they request the concurrence of the Senate. And he withdrew.

The Senate proceeded to consider the amendments of the House of Representatives to the bill last mentioned; whereupon,

Resolved, That they concur therein.

Ordered, That the Secretary notify the House of Representatives accordingly.
