Mr. President: The House of Representatives have passed the bill which originated in the Senate,entitled "An act for the relief of the sureties of Joseph Pettipool;" the bill, entitled "An act for the relief of the legal representatives of Joseph Hodgson, deceased;" the bill, entitled “ An act for the relief of the representatives of Greenberry H. Murphy;" and the bill, entitled "An act to repeal the 14th section of an act to reduce and fix the military peace establishment, passed the 2d day of March, 1821." They have also passed the bill, entitled "An act explanatory of the act for the relief of James Leander Cathcart, passed May 15th, 1820;" with an amendment, in which they request the concurrence of the Senate. And he withdrew.
