The Senate resumed the consideration of the amendment of the House of Representatives to the amendments of the Senate to the bill, entitled "An act to provide for paying to the state of Missouri three per cent. of the nett proceeds arising from the sale of public lands within the same;" and,

Mr. President: The House of Representatives have passed the bill which originated in the Senate, entitled "An act to establish the district of Blakeley."

They have passed a bill, entitled "An act to revive and continue

in force An act declaring the assent of Congress to certain acts of the states of Maryland and Georgia;" and, also, a bill, entitled “ An act restoring to the ship Diana the privileges of a sea-letter vessel;" in which bills they request the concurrence of the Senate. withdrew.
