TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1816. The following written message was received from the President of the United States, by Mr. Todd, his Secretary : To the Senate of the l'nited States:

I lay before the Senate, for their consideration and advice, as to a ratification, treaties concluded with the several Indian tribes, according to the following statement: A List of Indian Iribes with rohom Ircaties have been made, since the

last session of Congress, viz: Ilons, and kickapoos, Iribes of Indians.-Treaty concluded at Fort Ilarrison, between Benjamin l’arke and the chicfs and headmen of thosc trihen, the 4th Junc, 1810.

Ollanoas, Chippetons, and Pollorcnlomecs. -Trcaly concluded at St. Louis, between Governors Clarke, bulwards, and Col. Cholcan, and the chiefs and healmcn of those tribes, on the 2412 August, 1816.

l'innebago Iribes.-Made by the same persons on part United States, anıl the hcailmon of this tribe, at St. Louis, 3d Junc, 1916.

Suchs Of Rock river. Made by samc, at St Louis, 13th May, 1816.

Siours, composing three Iribes: the Siours of the Leaf, the Siours of The Brond Lecit, and the Siours icho Shool on The Pine-tops. -Made and concluded by the name, at St Louir, 1st June, 1816.

Chickusaw Irihe. -Trcaty made by Gen. Jackson, David Mcrrcwether, Exq, and Jessc Franklin, 19., and the headmen of that nation, at Chick. Nan w Council-housc, 2011 Scplember, 1816.

Cherokee Iribe --Trcaty made by Gen. Jackson, David Merriwether, Fix, and Jesac. Franklin, Esq., and the headmen of that nation, at Tur. ker Town, on the 1th October, 1816.

Choclavo tribe. - Treaty made by Gen. John Coffee, John Rhca, and John McKec, Esqirs. and the licadincn and warriors of that nation, at the Choclaw trading-house, on thc 24th of October, 1816.
