The House of Representatives have concurred in the amendments of the Senate to the bill, entitled, "An act to amend an ɛct, entitled, 'An act making further provision for military services during the late war, and for other purposes;'" to the bill entitled "An act making provision for the location of the lands reserved by the first article of the treaty of the 9th of August, 1814, between the United States and the Creek nation, to certain chiefs and warriors of that nation, and for other purposes;" to the bill entitled "An act to regulate the trade in plaster of Paris;" to the bill entitled "An act for the relief of Mary Wells;" to the bill entitled "An act to alter and establish certain post-roads;" to the bill entitled "An act making appropriations for the support of the navy of the United States for the year 1817;" to the bill entitled "An act making provision for the support of the military establishment for the year 1817;" to the bill entitled "An act making additional appropriations to defray the expenses of the army and militia during the late war with Great Britain;" to the bill entitled "An act for the relief of the widow and children of Abraham Owen;" and to the bill entitled "An act authorizing the payment of a sum of money to the State of Georgia, under the articles of agreement and cession. between the United States and that State."

They have passed the bill from the Senate, en

titled, " An act to establish a separate Territorial government for the eastern part of the Mississippi Territory;" the bill entitled "An act compensating Peter Hagner;" also, the bill entitled "An act making appropriation for carrying into effect.certain Indian treaties, and for other purposes;" and the resolution respecting the contracts for the printing for Congress.

They have disagreed to the amendment of the Senate to the bill entitled "An act making further provision for repairing the public buildings and improving the public square." And he withdrew.

The Senate proceeded to consider their amendment to the bill last mentioned, disagreed to by the House of Representatives.

Whereupon,

Resolved, That they recede therefrom.

Ordered, That the Secretary notify the House of Representatives accordingly.

The President signed the enrolled bill last reported to have been examined, and it was delivered to the committee to be laid before the President of the United States.

The Senate resumed, as in committee of the whole, the consideration of the bill entitled "An act respecting the district court of the United States, in the northern district of New-York," and no amendment having been made thereto, the President reported it to the House.

Ordered, That it pass to a third reading: And

It was read a third time.

Resolved, That this bill pass.

Ordered, That the Secretary notify the House of Representatives accordingly.

Mr. Ruggles reported from the committee that they had laid before the President of the United States the enrolled bill last reported to have been examined.

The Senate resumed, as in committee of the whole, the consideration of the bill entitled "An act authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to remit the duties therein mentioned," and no amendment having been made thereto, the President reported it to the House.

Ordered, That it pass to a third reading: And It was read a third time.

Mr. President-The House of Representatives have passed the bill from the Senate, entitled, “ An act for the relief of the widow and children of Arnold Henry Dohrman, deceased."

They have concurred in the amendments of the Senate to the bill entitled" An act concerning invalid pensioners." And he withdrew.

The Senate resumed, as in committee of the whole, the consideration of the bill entitled "An act for the relief of Joseph Summers and John Allen," and no amendment having been made thereto, the President reported it to the House.
