THIRD EDITION.

THE author of this little work cannot dismiss the Third Edition, without offering his grateful acknowledgments for the indulgent reception it has experienced from the Public. His want

of leisure to revise either the MS. copy or proof sheets, occasioned, he regrets to say, several inaccuracies in the first edition, which were not wholly removed in the second; he has now revised the whole, and hopes that in this third edition there are few material errors which

have escaped his observation.
