In accordance with discussions with Committee staff, statistics are being provided in several formats under answer 1.a. to accommodate comparison. Additional specific descriptions of qualifications will be provided for comparative purposes as requested by staff. Response 1.c. Equal Employment Opportunity Programs Office (EEOPO) The Equal Employment Opportunity Programs Office (EEOPO) is responsible for administering the Board's equal employment opportunity programs. The full time staff consist of the EEO Programs Officer, two senior EEO specialists, and a senior EEO technician. Six EEO counselors process informal complaints on a collateral basis. Since July 1992, a grade FR-25 Senior EEO Specialist was hired. This employee's major responsibilities include Federal Women's Program management, Hispanic Program coordination, alternative dispute resolution process development, and support in affirmative action program analysis and development. The vacant EEO Technician position was replaced by the senior EEO specialist position. The collateral position of EEO Officer was eliminated as a result of changes in the complaint processing related to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission 1614 complaint processing changes. The terms of three EEO Counselors will expire on September 30, 1993. Two other employees were selected and will be trained by October 1, 1993, when their terms of appointment begin.
