-53 AFFIRMATIVE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM FOR MINORITIES AND WOMEN REPORT OF OBJECTIVES AND ACTION ITEMS This section will describe only objectives and actions that are new in this year's plan. Objectives, programs, and activities from previous plans that have helped accomplish affirmative employment targets are included in the responsibilities of the EEO Programs Officer and will be continued. DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINTS Problem/barrier statement: Inappropriate timeframes for the resolution of complaints during the adjustment stage of the formal complaint Objective: To appoint and educate an EEO Officer on the formal Responsible official: Staff Director for Management -54 AFFIRMATIVE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM FOR MINORITIES AND WOMEN RECRUITMENT AND HIRING Problem/barrier statement: Accomplishment of targets, through recruitment of candidates from those EEO groups whose conspicuous absence or manifest imbalance has been identified. Objective: Employment of minorities in the PATCOB categories or populous job family group for which proposed 1992 goals have been identified and maintenance of their representation in those categories or groups. Responsible officials: Director of Human Resources Management, EEO Programs Officer, Hispanic Program Coordinator, and division directors as indicated in each action item. |
