The life of Benjamin Franklin as told by himself. The autobiography covers Franklin's early life, work as a printer, travel to Europe, public works in the colonies, scientific experiments, and much more. This edition was edited by Frank Woodworth Pine with 118 footnotes with additional information, context, and explanation for the reader. First published in 1818, this edition's text is derived from the book published in 1916 and the 58 black and white illustrations by Homer W. Colby are from the 1912 edition. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
