IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES,
February 28, 1837. Resolved, that the Secretary of the Treasury cause to be prepared a collection of the instructions which have been issued, from time to time, either by the Secretary of the Treasury or the Commissioner of the Land Office, excepting only such as refer exclusively, both in principle and application, to particular or individual cases; together with the official opinions of the Attorney General on questions arising under the land laws.
Resolved, That the Secretary of the Senate cause the general public acts of Congress respecting the sale and disposition of the public lands, together with the instructions and opinions mentioned in the foregoing resolution, to be printed for the use of the Senate. Attest:
