Foakes, Leah Marcus, John Wilders, Patricia Parker, and Annabel Patterson), in a series of lectures delivered to undergraduates, explain distinctive critical strategies that they and other contemporary critics use for interpreting Shakespeare's poems and plays. Workshops illustrating the practice of these strategies follow the lectures.
