Now Virgil died at Brundusium on the 22nd Sept., B. C. 19, and the words of Domitius imply that Tibullus died at the same time, or at least Shortly afterwards. We may therefore assume that his death took place at the end of B. C. 19, or the beginning of B. C. 18.
