1905. The difference between man and the lower animals is a moral one. "The motives of conscious," says Darwin, " as connected with repentance and the feelings of duty, are the most important differences which separate man from the animal." This is but another way of saying what we read in the earliest record, that God made man in his own image. When, therefore, we ask what is success, the answer is found along moral lines.
