If above 15 subscribers, the owner of the second horse to receive 20gs out of the Stakes.

To name to Mr. Weatherby, by eight o'clock in the evening of Whit-Monday, till which time the subscription will remain open.

SECOND DAY.--A Sweepstakes of 5gs each, carrying 12st. each; 2-mile heats.

To be named to the Clerk of the Course, on or before the 25th of March, 1807; the stakes to be extended to horses the property of any of the members of the three Berkshire packs of fox hounds, viz. the Craven Club, Midgham, and Mr. Symonds's. A certificate will be required of the horses having been hunted with one of the above packs, at least twelve times.

A Sweepstakes of 5gs each, for hunters, the property of residents in the county of Dorset; such horses to have been their property from the 1st day of December, and never to have started, paid or received ft. and to have been regularly hunted during the season, and to have been at the death of four foxes, certificates of which to be produced; and not to be put in training before the 1st of April next. To be named to Mr. Weatherby, or the Clerk of the Course, on or before the 1st day of June. To carry 12st. and to be rode by Gentlemen. ;-2-mile heats.

IT having been resolved, at a Meeting of the Gen

tlemen of Cornwall, to revive the races on Bodmin Downs, they will be held the ensuing summer, at a time hereafter to be specified by public advertisement. The following are the plates, sweepstakes, and conditions agreed upon :

A Plate of 501. given by the Members for the County, for all ages; three yr olds to carry 7st. 4lb. four yr olds, 8st. 71b. five yr olds, 9st. 3lb. six yr olds and aged, 9st. 71b. mares and geldings allowed 31b. the best of three 2-mile heats. A winner once in VOL. XXXIV.

The winner to be sold for 200gs, if demanded within a quarter of an hour after the race, the owner, of the second horse being first entitled.

A Sweepstakes of 5gs each, for four yr olds, 10st. 7lb. five yr olds, 1 1st. 4fb. six yr olds, 11st. 11fb. and aged, 12st. one 4-mile heat; mares and geldings to be allowed 3lb. The horses to be named and the subscription to close on the day before the first day of

the races. Winners once in 1807, to carry 5lb. extra. twice, 10lb. three times, a stone.
