5 Teach my weak heart, O gracious LORD,

With stronger faith to call Thee mine; Bid me pronounce the blissful word,

My FATHER, GOD, with joy divine.

1 LoOk, ye saints, the sight is glorious;

See “the man of sorrows" now:
From the fight return'd victorious,
Ev'ry knee to Him shall bow;

Crown Him, crown Him :
Crowns become the victor's brow.

2 Crown the SAVIOUR, angels crown Him:

Rich the trophies Jesus brings: In the seat of pow'r enthrone Him, While the vault of heaven rings:

Crown Him, crown Him: Crown the SAVIOUR “KING OF KINGS!"

3 Sinners in derision crown’d Him,

Mocking thus the Saviour's claim; Saints and angels crowd around Him, Own His title, praise His name:

Crown Him, crown Him: Spread abroad the victor's fame.

4 Hark, those bursts of acclamation!

Hark, those loud triumphant chords!
JESUS takes the highest station :
O what joy the sight affords!

Crown Him, crown Him, “ KING OF KINGS, and LORD OF LORDS!"

Coronation. 1 ALL hail the pow'r of Jesu's Name!

Let angels prostrate fall:
Bring forth the royal diadem,

And crown Him LORD of all.
2 Hail Him, ye heirs of David's line,

Whom David LORD did call-
The God incarnate-Man divine-

And crown Him LORD of all.
3 Ye souls redeemed of Gentile race,

Ye ransom'd from the fall,
Hail Him, who saves you by His grace,

And crown Him LORD of all. 4 Let ev'ry kindred, ev'ry tribe,

Throughout this earthly ball,
To Him all majesty ascribe,

And crown Him LORD of all. 5 We too, amid the sacred throng,

Low at His feet would fall,
Join in the everlasting song,

And crown Him LORD of all.

Name and Sulvation of Christ. 1

LET earth and heaven agree,

Angels and men be join'd,
To celebrate with me

The Saviour of mankind;
T'adore the all-atoning LAMB,
And bless the sound of JESU's Namea

Jesus, transporting sound!

The joy of earth and heaven;
No other help is found,

No other Name is given,
By which we can salvation have:
But Jesus came the world to save.

3 Jesus, harmonious Name!

It charms the hosts above!
They evermore proclaim,

And wonder at His love!
"Tis all their happiness to gaze;
'Tis heaven to see our JESU's face.

His Name the sinner hears,

And is from sin set free; "Tis music in his ears,

'Tis life and victory: New songs do now his lips employ, And dances his glad heart for joy.

5 O unexampled love!

O all-redeeming grace!
How swiftly didst thou move

To save a fallen race!
What shall I do to make it known,
What Thou for all mankind hast done?

6 O for a trumpet-voice,

On all the world to call !
To bid their hearts rejoice

In Him who died for all!
For all my LORD was crucified ;
For all, for all my SAVIOUR died !

Name and Salvation of Christ.

1 How sweet the Name of Jesus sounds

In a believer's ear!
It soothes his sorrows, heals his wounds,

And drives away his fear.

2 It makes the wounded spirit whole,

And calms the troubled breast; 'Tis manna to the hungry soul,

And to the weary rest. 3 Dear Name! the rock on which I build,

My shield and hiding-place;
My never-failing treas'ry, fillid

With boundless stores of grace.

4 Jesus, my Shepherd, Husband, Friend,

My Prophet, Priest, and King, My Lord, my Life, my Way, my End,

Accept the praise I bring.

5 Weak is the effort of my heart,

And cold my warmest thought; But when I see Thee as Thou art,

I'll praise Thee as I ought.

6 Till then I would Thy love proclaim

With ev'ry fleeting breath;
And may the music of Thy Name

Refresh my soul in death.

Name and Suloqtion of Christ. 1 THOU dear REDEEMER, dying LAMB!

We love to hear of Thee;
No music like Thy charming Name,

Nor half so sweet can be.
2 O may we ever hear Thy voice

In mercy to us speak!
And in our Priest will we rejoice,

3 Our JESUS shall be still our theme,

While in this world we stay; We'll sing our Jesu's lovely Name,

When all things else decay. 4 When we appear in yonder cloud,

With all His favour'd throng, Then will we sing more sweet, more loud,

And Christ shall be our song.

Types and Prophecies of Christ, 1 BEHOLD the woman's promis'd seed!

Behold the great MESSIAH come! Behold the prophets all agreed

To give him the superior room. 2 Abraham the saint rejoic'd of old,

When visions of the Lord he saw; Moses the man of God foretold

great fulfiller of his law,
