BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the thirteenth day of *February, in the twenty-eighth year of the Independence of the United States of America, CALEB P. WAYNE, of the said District, hath deposited in this office the Title of a Book, the right whereof he claims as Proprietor, in the words following, to wit:....

again to retire, cross the Schuylkill and proceed to

CHAPTER IV.

Measures taken to prevent a communication between the

British army in Philadelphia and their fleet....Royal

army attacked at Germantown.... The Americans re-

cutting off supplies from Philadelphia....Attack upon

fort Mifflin....Attack upon Red Bank....Colonel Donop
