The long Main, fought during the race-week, between Sir H. V. Tempest, Bart. and C. Brandling, Esq. was won by the former, 20 to 18, who also won 12 bye battles to 8.

NANTWICH.

During the race-week, a Main was fought between the Gentlemen of Cheshire (Gilliver, feeder) and the Gentlemen of Staffordshire (Gosling, feeder) for 2gs a battle, and 100gs the main, and was won by the former, as follows:

During the race-week, a Main was fought between the Earl of Derby (Potter, feeder) and Richard Legh, Esq. (Gilliver, feeder) for 10gs a battle, and 200 the main, which was won by the latter, one ahead.
