ACTS, RESOLUTIONS AND MEMORIALS, PASSED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE TERRITORY OF UTAH. RESOLUTION Concerning the further completion of the Penitentiary. Be it resolved by the Governor and Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Utah: That from the report of the Warden of the Penitentiary of the Territory of Utah, and from other information, we are satisfied that the thirty-two thousand doll lars appropriated by Congress for the erection of said Penitentiary, has been faithfully and judiciously expended by the superintendent of the same; and that we believe it necessary for the preservation of said Penitentiary that its walls be coped with stone, and as Congress has thus far erected the walls and other buildings connected with said work; Therefore, Further expen Be it further resolved, That we recommend the further expenditure, by the general government, of twelve thousand dollars for the further completion of said diture of $12000 Penitentiary.
