Since the Calendar was put to press, several changes have taken place.

James Brown, of Louisiana, (late of the Senate,) has been appointed Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to France.

Samuel Larned, of Rhode Island, has been appointed Secretary of Legation to Chili.

Fontaine Maury, of the State Department, and William Gibson, 3f the Treasury Department, have died ; and George H. Richards, of Connecticut, has been appointed to fill the vacancy occasioned by the death of Mr Gibson.

In page 121, “R. H. Winder,” should be “J. H. Winder.” In page 113, for “ J. I. Schuley," read “ J. I. Schuler.”
