For the other, the Candidates must be under twenty-five years of age.

The Subjects of Examination are Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Physiology (no candidate to take more than four subjects). The JEAFFRESON EXHIBITION will be competed for at the same time The Subjects of Examination are Latin, Mathematics, and any two of the three following languages, Greek, French, and German The Classical subjects are those of the London University Matriculation Examination of July, 1885.

This is an open Exhibition of the value of 501.

Candidates must not have entered to the Medical or Surgical Practice of any Metropolitan Medical School.

The successful Candidates will be required to enter at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in the October succeeding the Examination, and are eligible for the other Hospital Scholarships and Prizes.
