TWO SCHOLARSHIPS of the value of 130, each, tenable for one year, will be competed for on September 26th, 28th, 29th, 30th. One of the value of 1301, will be awarded to the best Candidate at this Examination under twenty years of age, if of sufficient merit. For the other, the Candidates must be under twenty-five years of age.

The Subjects of Examination are Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Physiology (no candidate to take more than four subjects). The JEAFFRESON EXHIBITION will be competed for at the same time. The Subjects of Examination are Latin, Mathematics, and any two of the three following languages, Greek, French, and German. The Classical subjects are those of the London University Matriculation Examination of July, 1885.

This is an open Exhibition of the value of 501.

Candidates must not have entered to the Medical or Surgical Practice of any Metropolitan Medical School.

The successful Candidates will be required to enter at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in the October succeeding the Examination, and are eligible for the other Hospital Scholarships and Prizes.

The other Scholarships are: First year-one of 50, one of 301., and one of 201. Second year and third year-one of 501. Third and fourth year-two of 30., one of 401.
