Donald McDonald was the POTUS after running on a successful campaign to “Make America Virile Again.” This new found virility was manifested in a mission to begin the colonization of Mars. Meanwhile, on earth, the process of social and biological disintegration was rapidly increasing which was predicted by the theory of sociothermodynamics. Two scientists working for the NOAA tried to warn the government of the impending disaster, but the government was focused on other issues and had no interest in governing. As a result social entropy reached its maximum, but as all hell was breaking loose, it became known that the POTUS expired as the result of an unusual medical condition.
